Actor. Singer. Dancer(ish). Comedian.

Welcome to my website! If you're not looking for the girl with freckles that likes to sing show tunes and make people laugh, then you're on the wrong website. Sorry about that. If you are looking for that girl, then have a blast learning more about me and my career so far!

WHAT'S NEW

I’ve been accepted into the Second City Conservatory!!! I keep pinching myself that I get to study comedy at a school I’ve always dreamed of going to. For the next year I’ll be swimming in deep dish pizza while living in Chicago and making my biggest what/if a reality.

I'm LOUD and proud to be playing Matilda's horrible mother. I'm ready to experience the joys of motherhood as I portray Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center on the Jersey Shore. I'll be living my amateur ballroom dancing dreams from March 6th until March 22nd.

Who's ready for another character voice?! I'm heading into dialect coachings to try and transition into "talkies". I might get a pie or two to the face along the way. I’ll be playing Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain at the Circa ‘21 Playhouse this fall. I can’t stand how excited I am! The show opens September 13th and runs until November 2nd.

"Sarah Mae Banning played Roxie Hart, and I thought she was absolutely perfect in the role. Her voice was wonderful, and she expressed Roxie's emotions so well through her acting; from her humor, to anger, to fear, and so much more. Near the end of her first number, Funny Honey, I was incredibly impressed with the anger she was able to portray using her voice and movements--and she had this same level of brilliance through the rest of the show."
